TRUE BLUE is owned and skippered by Steve Porter who is a qualified Yachtmaster Offshore having gained experience locally, as well as in the Western Isles of Scotland and the Med. And more recently, as part of a crew sailing a 67 foot yacht from Gran Canaria to Rio.
As an angler, Steve's experience dates back to his childhood when he spent much of his time fishing the shoreline around Poole and the Isle of Purbeck. Since then, he has fished in the waters around Northern Ireland, the Indian Ocean and even sampled black bass fishing in the African bush.

TONY WAY Tony needs very little introduction. His name locally is legondary. A charter boat Skipper in his own right with over 35 years experience, it is always a priviledge to have his company and expertise on board. As well as being a very experienced boatman, Tony is also a great angler and currently holds the record for what we believe is the largest recorded cod landed on rod and line along the South Coast in recent years.

PAT HARVEY Pat is a very accomplished angler and a specialist when it comes to bass fishing having gained much of his experience as crew with the legondary Mike Trott. But it is not just bass fishing that Pat excels at. He can always be relied upon to put a fish on the boat whatever the target species. Always with a smile on his face, a warm personality and an infectious sense of humour, Pat is always a pleasure to have on the boat.

KEITH HUMPHRIES Keith's angling experience began with coarse fishing, but as a boat angler he is a natural. In 2002 Keith qualified on "True Blue" for Boat Fishing Monthly's individual boat fishing final. He went on to win the event, earning himself a week long fishing holiday in Kenya. Even when paying his way as an angler on TRUE BLUE, Keith often sacrifices his own fishing to help and give advice to other anglers. It is always good to have Keith crewing on board the boat and anglers can always rely on him to provide helpful assistance and advice.
